The USDA is out with it's report on the number of cattle on feedlots of 1000 plus head for November.

Seanicaa Herron, USDA economist, with some of the key numbers from Friday's USDA Cattle on Feed report.

Herron says expects about a 4.6 percent increase in beef production in 2018. And lower prices in 2018 about 122 dollars a hundredweight to 117 dollars next year, about a dollar or so less that average prices are running now.

Also of note to cattle producers, the Ag Water Summit coming up December 5th at the Larimer County Fairgrounds, Ag leaders, water professionals, elected officials, and decision makers will talk about important agricultural water issues.
