Market Line Report Wed 11/9
This is Bob Larson with the Market Line Report for Wed. Nov. 9th. Fairly quiet day of trading on this day when everyone, including investors, are more focused on the polls. Here's Scott Shellady with more on the market from the floor of the CME in Chicago.
Schellady "Hi I'm Scott Shellady from Chicago on an election day and the day be-fore WAZI so kind of quiet and kind of some weird price action, but let's talk about livestock. In particular, I like hogs. I mean they've been able to hold in there pretty well as of late. Up again today, we did see some weakness, but up again today generally speaking. And we're building some good say technical levels to maybe power this market higher. We'll need to see some new action come in, but we had some October lows we've kind of overcome it looks like and we set some wholesale pork prices that were about 96 cents higher than they were last Friday. A couple of little things in there to give the bulls something to hold on to and we saw a lack of selling so some decent moves there."
