Back Country Tents

Today I was fortunate to get ahold of Bob at Sportsman's Warehouse to get some advice on back packing tent for my next big game hunt. Bob, what would you recommend for a back country elk hunting trip that is light and affordable? Bob, "So I've got a Eureka that's 6 ½ lbs with a full rain fly to the ground for a two person. Then I've got another Eureka that's 4.7 lbs two person and it also has the full rain fly to the ground." Tom, For me fighting the moisture is always one of the toughest challenges, you mentioned you might have a couple tricks on hand to keep the water out. What do you recommend? Bob, "I tell you the same thing I tell everyone else, if water wants in it's going to get in. I usually carry a light tarp with me.
