Elsewhere from MyNorthwest.com, Managers have started releasing more cold water from a reservoir in northern Idaho for endangered Snake River sockeye salmon following a year where 99 percent of the run died due to lethally hot water. Bumping up the amount of 43-degree water released from Dworshak Reservoir on the North Fork Clearwater River is expected to keep water temperature at Lower Granite Dam on the Snake River under 68 degrees.

From the category can medical marijuana be unhealthy, Washington state's Department of Agriculture says it has found traces of undisclosed pesticides in many of the marijuana-growing fertilizers and other products it tested recently.

Inspectors tested 39 products. Spokesman Hector Castro said Thursday that of the 27 tests for which it has results so far, 15 had residues of pesticides that weren't on the product's label. That means growers could be using certain pesticides without knowing it.
