This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for March 15th. Let's take a look at Fridays recap with the livestock market, as today's market is closed. Ted Siefried with Zaner Ag Hedge, covers more from the floor of the CME in Chicago.

Seifried "This is Ted Siefried, with Zaner Ag Hedge from the CME floor, talking about livestock today. We started today off very hot and heavy in the livestock, we were pushing higher in the cattle and feeder cattle markets. We were up really significantly early, and we saw some very good cash trade here today, $6 higher than what we saw last week. So that certainly added some strength to the market, however box beef prices were a little bit lighter than expected, down just a little from yesterday. So, we've cooled the market down just a little bit."
