Welcome to Vine to Wine this is your host Linda Moran and today we are answering questions from the email. Recently a listener wrote "My husband and I are from the east coast but listening to you has encouraged us to explore wines from the Pacific Northwest. Can you recommend a resource for us to find out more about the wines and the region?" Many listeners who may not have been familiar with the outstanding wines coming from the Pacific Northwest have reached out to me and it is time to reveal some of the best sources for discovering this region. Of course I think going to the internet is a perfect way to get a whole bunch of information very quickly. One site that I highly recommend is Wine Press Northwest. Andy Perdue is a local writer who has turned his passion for wine into one of the most informative websites around. He also produces a magazine of the same name that is available for a ridiculously low subscription rate of only $10. He has also written a guide to buying wines from the Pacific Northwest that covers wineries from Washington, Oregon, British Columbia and Idaho. Next cruise through the websites that each region maintains there are links to many wineries and wine related activities.
