Exciting Opportunity for Future Journalists through National Jr Angus Association

There is an exciting opportunity for National Junior Angus Association members who interested in possible future careers in journalism, marketing or photography during this summer’s National Junior Angus Show.
Carrie Horsley Angus Foundation Director of Marketing and Public Relations shares more details about Media Crew
Horsley: “The types of things we do through Media Crew starting out with — social media is our biggest thing that we wanted to implement into it where the kids can actually put things on Facebook and Twitter for our National Junior Angus Association Facebook page. They can also write stories. Those stories will be published in the Angus Agenda that go out daily during the junior show. It is a small newsletter and the stories that they write beforehand we put in there and publish them.”
Other opportunities include shadowing Angus Journal magazine staff as they do interviews, as well as shadowing the The Angus Report news television production crew. New this year will be photography at the junior show and all photos taken will used in a Facebook album of the show.
