AGPROfessionals. I'm Greg Martin with Colorado Ag Today.

The ag industry can be a complicated road to try and navigate. But there is help out there. Thomas Haren, AGPROfessionals CEO talks about the services they provide.

HAREN: AGPROfessionals is a development company exclusive to animal agriculture and agribusiness. We've been in business for 20 years and we function similar to any other commercial development company. We have in-house project initiation, feasibility, finance, project development, public relations and then we move on to site selection and real estate. We have four in-house brokers. And then we get into the due diligence on the properties and permitting, environmental permitting, land use permitting, zoning and survey engineering.

Haren says they try to be a one-stop shop short of actually building and operating. Over the years they have seen some changes.

HAREN: Our clientele is slowly changing. You know the average age in agriculture - I think the latest report was around 58 so we're working with a lot of - I guess you would call them millennial generation, third and fourth generation producers especially dairy folks that are coming in, 20's and 30 somethings and we're seeing a lot of - you know they don't respond very well to phone calls, they want to be texted. You know and then we're seeing a dramatic change in the public and the consumer.

More on AGPROfessionals tomorrow.
