USPB Brings #TopTater Recipe Winner to World Food Championships
USPB Global Consumer Marketing Manager Meredith Myers shares more about the why behind the successful contest which resulted in far more recipes than they had anticipated.
Myers: “It is so important this year because we have established our overarching strategy of making potatoes exciting. So everything we do in our marketing program this year is about raising the level of excitement that consumers feel about potatoes. So this #TopTater contest really did that. We saw some really creative dishes.”
In addition to cheering on recipe winner, the USPB is a partner in this World Food Championships. Myers explains
Myers: “It is an exciting alliance and will help raise the profile of the humble spud to a top tater. Potatoes will be the infused ingredient in the top-10 round at the World Recipe Championship.”
