For the PETA organization, people for the ethical treatment of animals, 2005 will be known as the year of the worm. PETA the pathetic, who apparently will do just about anything for attention under the of guise of animal rights, recently signed another celebrity to join their crusade against fur, (as if Pamela Anderson in the buff isn't enough) . Their newest addition is believe it or not, a worm, former NBA star Dennis Rodman best known for his animal like antics on the basketball court and his beast- like behavior off. Here we have someone protesting animal skins who happens to have made millions slamming a skin- covered ball through a hoop, and is recognized for slithering into skin-tight "leather" pants and donning extravagant fur and boas. Talk to me about double standards, the master of defense obviously didn't defend the rights of poor little bovines when he strapped on his expensive "leather basketball shoes or left the stadium driving a luxury vehicle that we all know didn't have vinyl or cloth seats. Come to think of it for a group like PETA the worm, in all his splendor is probably the perfect spokesperson after all. I'm Susan Allen and this is Food Forethought Source: Consumer Freedom 12/22/04
