 Met up with old friend of the show at a tradeshow, Rex Peterson, editor in chief of Hooks and Horns Magazine, and he told me about a great program for disabled youth. “Youth Outdoors Unlimited is based in Washington, Cindy Carpenter is the president, they are a 501 C3 Corporation and they take disabled youth hunting and fishing, sort of like the Make a Wish Program or something like that, it is a great program and we do everything we can to help them out. What are the requirements? They just have to have a life threatening disease like cancer or diabetes. The program does everything in their power to get the kids out to the field and make it a way of life for them taking them camping and fishing and that kind of thing."
