3-26 SS Extreme Elk

 North West resident Corey Jacobson is not only a dedicated elk hunter, Corey produces a magazine which is entitled “Extreme Elk Magazine”:  “ We started about a year ago and our 1st issue went out February of 2012. The concept is a little different than the rest of the magazines which are focused mostly on the trophy and while we still like big elk our focus is more on the extreme adventure what ever it is meaning that makes the hunt extreme for someone for example someone traveling from East Coast for 3 days to come out here and spend their one-week vacation hunting elk, whether it is backpacking into the wilderness 10 miles by your self, taking 15 years to shoot your 1st elk. The focus isn’t just on big elk although there are some big elk. It is more about the adventure and pays  a lot of attention on high quality photography. Each week the pro-staff provides articles so there is an updated article every week on different aspects of health hunting. There are different features and contests that we are continually doing. We do a monthly webisode so there is a new elk hunting video each month. We have all sorts of instructional information, how to process elk in the field, so it is a mix of different types of information and entertainment, we have an online store where we sell all of the gear that we personally use as far as knives, game bags, clothes, boots, elk calls, decoys, headlamps and that sort of thing.
