 Turning Photoshop into  Wildlife art.  Dean Teegarden creates absolutely beautiful wildlife art that looks, for all the world, like oil paintings. His artwork captures the fleeting interplay of light, fish and water in vivid detail. His 20 years as a commercial illustrator allowed him  to produce these amazing paintings, Teegarden produces beautiful paintings of fish on his Mac computer. I caught up with him at a sportsmen’s show. “My wife and I had 3 little boys, one right after another, and it made it very difficult for me to paint with regular oils and acrylics because I was constantly interrupted and all the accoutrements were left out all over the place. I began to try to achieve the same results on the Macintosh computer. over time I have been able to emulate the standard painting techniques on the Macintosh using Photoshop.
