 Roger Selner and the team at Eastman’s Hunting Journals developed a display of trophy mule deer that travels throughout the West. Listen to the details of this fabulous showcase. “The tour started 27 years ago. Traveled approximately 2,000,000 miles. Have them over 500 shows and over 210 different cities in North America. Now with the tie with Eastman’s, we pretty much focus on the West, from the Dakotas, to Arizona, California, Oregon. When I select the 12 heads, I try to pick a head from different states. Every year is a new exhibit. You see one season and they go back to the owners. They are shoulder mounts which we provide for the owners. Some of these were just on plaques, some had  the old heads from 30 to 50 years ago, some are historical, some are brand-new and we provide the taxidermy.  They get a free amount and if we select them for the show, they get a brand-new quality thousand dollar taxidermy mount.  We insure them, we do the stories. If they are not in the record book, I officially measured them, pay the entry fee and put them in the record book for them. We focus on giving the families, the hunters, the owners  the recognition and their stories in the tour.
