1-18 SS Hunger Games

 The movie “Hunger Games” has prompted a huge interest in archery for children... I had heard that the movie “Hunger Games” which involves archery had created a  lot of enthusiasm for kids and that they were buying archery equipment in record numbers. I called Randy Sewell who is the archery manager at a Sportsman’s Warehouse store and asked him if he had noticed. “He had record numbers in the December for Christmas, 4 kids bows, long bows and re-curves and that kind of thing. Most of it was little kids who had seen the movie and they wanted to try it out. We are starting to see a lot of new archers coming into it because of that.  We are seeing increased interest in our archery clubs with kids as well.  I went to an archery tournament last weekend and they had record numbers of kids.Do you think that may translate into more bow hunting? No question about it.
