11-22 SS Ike Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everybody. I’m David Sparks with sportsmen’s spotlight and today I am talking with one of the owners of Eastman’s hunting journals which have been around for 25 years. Here is Ike Eastman.  “The magazine has been around for 25 years but we have been hunting for generations. We can record data with photos and memorabilia. I am probably the 6th generation and before that it was a necessity. This time of year, Thanksgiving, is a time that we give thanks to numerous things and here at Eastman’s, we just like to thank the people who have passed the hunting  tradition from one generation to the next. Hunters are the best conservationists in the world. They conserve wildlife and without it we wouldn’t have hunting. If we don’t pass that on to the next generation, we won’t have it any longer. We cannot allow these environmental groups, special interest groups and government pressure to blindness or to change the way that our traditions and hunting ethics have been passed down to us forever so we at Eastman’s would like to thank those hunters and those outdoorsmen that passed not only the hunting ethics and conservationists but also the outdoor life. One of the guys that works for me as a little sign behind his door that says kids that grow up hunting and trapping don’t rob little old ladies when they get older and I think it is 100% true.
