A little bit different take on global warming.

The Heartland Institute is an American conservative and libertarian public policy think tank based in Chicago, which advocates free market policies. It was founded in 1984 and conducts research and advocacy work on issues including government spending, taxation, healthcare, tobacco policy, hydraulic fracturing, global warming, information technology, and free-market environmentalism. In a recent conversation with Heartland Policy Advisor Mischa Popoff, I was surprised by his view on global warming. “Their main thing lately has been global warming. They have been fighting to demonstrate, and I am in complete agreement, that the human race is not causing global warming. There may be global warming but things like the sun are probably more responsible and  in any case, we cannot turn back the hands of time. You’re not going to  park your car and start biking to work, a farmer is not going to go back to a horse and part his tractor, that would be totally out of the question. This is a little bit off the topic but there is a huge movement in the organic farming industry to get off fossil fuels. You and I and our grandkids might take public transit someday, we may even fly around in electric floating cars but farmers, mark my words, you can dig me out of my grave  in 100 years and farmers will still be using diesel tractors for centuries. There is no alternative.
