 Idaho Beef Council Announces Staffing Changes. I had a nice chat the other day with Traci Bracco, Executive Director of the Idaho Beef Council  and during our conversation she revealed that she has filled a couple of new positions within the Beef Council which is great news for you producers out there because Tracy and her staff are relentlessly trying to promote the nutritional value of Idaho beef.  Here’s Traci: “The Idaho Beef Council is pleased to announce that Janice Streng has been promoted to Program Manager.  In her new role, Streng will be responsible for implementing the Beef Council’s market plan for increasing consumer beef demand throughout the state of Idaho.  Streng will engage in industry and producer communications, as well as implement state retail and foodservice marketing programs and promotions.  Streng will also implement outreach campaigns to health and nutrition professionals to continue to strengthen beef’s position as the premier nutritional protein. Streng has been with the Idaho Beef Council since 2007 most recently serving as the Office Manager.  Her 10-plus years in the beef industry includes five years with the Idaho Cattle Association working in the areas of administration, membership and communications.

The Idaho Beef Council also welcomes Becky Miller as its new Office Coordinator.  As Office Coordinator, Miller will be responsible for the daily business administration of the Council as well as being the main support to staff and Beef Council board members.  Miller grew up in a ranching family from Bruneau, Idaho and comes to the Idaho Beef Council with 12 years of office management experience.”
