3-8 SS Hunt Perspective

3-8 SS Hunt Perspective

A different reason to go hunting than just for the sake of hunting. Todd Nash is a hunter over in Oregon. But he is also a rancher who has lost a few cattle to a wolfpack. I pointed out that there might be a difference between Idaho and Oregon. “In Idaho, not only do we manage our wolf population but we do sell wolf tags for hunting. How do you feel about the sport of hunting wolves? I had friends that wanted to go to Canada or Alaska to hunt wolves and I never really wanted to all that badly. I never got into hunting coyotes are anything like that. But I have been put in a position where I darned sure want to now. Right here at home. I had 4 confirmed kills last year. We are sitting here with the wolves that did it still roaming around out there. We are up to 30 confirmed kills here in our county by one pack so far. There is a lethal take on  7 different wolves and they have taken out to thus far. The bottom line is you will go hunting for a wolf any day. Yes that was the original question and I darned sure would, yes. I don’t have any interest in going anywhere else to hunt them but I’d go here.
