2-3 IAN Bean School
Would you like a degree in beanaculture? Well the way I think, anybody who receives a degree has to go to school. And so it is with bean producers. There is actually a bean school.
Bean schools, co-sponsored by the Idaho Bean Commission and the Western Bean Dealers Association have been scheduled for January 31st and February 1st. Diana Caldwell of the Idaho Bean Commission tells us about bean school: “of all the degrees that you can get which includes a Masters or a PhD I think it’s interesting to consider beans. If you would take a second and explain the school? A bean school is part of a payback to growers and dealers for paying bean tax. Every 2 years they do a being school at both the Treasure Valley and the Magic Valley and they pull in all kinds of different speakers that will help our growers and dealers keep up with the latest trends.Topics include: A Research Report on Development of Virus-Resistant, Yellow Bean Variety, New Bean Fertility Recommendations, Bean Commission Update, White Mold Control in Beans, Spider Mite Control in Beans and International Issues Updates.
