1-16 IAN Wheat Meeting

  I received a press release from the Idaho Wheat Commission  suggesting that there was an upcoming meeting that was important and featured a lot of research going on. Well, I called up and chatted with Cathy Wilson to learn more. Here she is: “I am Director of Research Collaboration, research projects that could be done collaboratively between the 3 states, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Blaine has been asking me a lot about that and to think about some ideas where there would be projects that really benefited all 3 states and could utilize resources in each of the 3 states where we could all come together and do a collaborative project so, it’s kind of oblique but I know those are the kinds of discussions we have been having in the office and that’s a big deal I guess when they met, this was before I was on board, they had a joint meeting where the commissioners all said that they wanted to make sure they were doing more cooperative work so that people were not duplicating efforts.
