 Here we go with a lot of facts from the University of Idaho’s research department in the college of agriculture. What is the number of food size trout which means 12 inches or longer that Idaho Fish producers sold in 2009? An amazing 30 million. That’s 73% of the 41 million trout sold throughout the US. How much money did Idaho trout producers make? $36 million.

 How many cattle and calves were grown in Idaho in 2010? This is amazing. 2.1 million.  The biggest cattle raising area is Southcentral Idaho with 1 million, followed by Southwest Idaho’s 569,500, East Idaho’s 493,000 and North Idaho’s 66,500.
