 Miss Idaho is a can’t miss when it comes to representing our state and our ag producers. We’ll introduce you to Kara Jackson next. Here are a few personal statistics on a young woman that any Dad or Mom would be proud to call their daughter…                        

*Age: 22

*Education: Senior at Boise State University working on a Bachelor of Science in Biology;

*Scholastic/Career Ambitions: To obtain a Doctorate of Pharmacy and become a Clinical Pharmacist

*Scholastic Honors: Dean's Scholarship; Idaho Top Scholar; Taco Bell Leadership Scholarship; Biology, Music and Health Science Scholarships; Western Studies Scholarship; Dean's List; Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Member

*Leadership Roles: 2007 Idaho National FFA Officer Candidate; 2005-2006 Idaho FFA State Reporter; Principle and co-principle violist in Boise State University Symphony

 Yup…the 2009 Miss Idaho is the complete package of beauty, brains, ideals and achievement. Her platform as a Miss Idaho contestant should make a lot of ag producers smile: “When I thought about competing, agricultural awareness was the first thing that popped into my mind. It’s something that I’ve been doing since I was a 4-H member and an FFA member so it’s something that’s really been a message and a passion within my life.”
