Manure Processor at No Risk

Manure Processor at No Risk

“We will design, own, build, finance and operate an anaerobic digester on a dairy farm that compliments the dairy. So first we’ll figure out how it is that the dairy’s built and how it is it’s managed and what type of digester would be the most complimentary to the operation and then we’ll go out and look at the different technologies and talk to the vendors and find the right fit. We’ll design it, we’ll install it, we’ll operate it, we’ll take full responsibility for it, and as that manure’s in that digester, it breaks down and gases off, we collect the gas, we upgrade it to pipeline quality methane and we sell it on long-term contract. That allows us to write 2 different checks to the dairyman: One, we pay them a portion of our gas sales and two, because we’re reducing emissions, we can have that emission reduction verified and monetized and sell carbon credit and share a portion of that revenue back with the dairy farmers as well.”

I hope you heard David Albers, President and CEO of BioEnergy Solutions the same way I did, but in a nutshell, his company will take all the risk in installing a manure digester that not only gets rid of a big ag problem, but generates revenue as well. Idaho farmers, they’re in California now and planning on coming to Idaho in the near future. Keep you posted.
