10/27/08 Columbia River Horse Sale

Investors will tell you that with the economic downturn it's a good time to buy houses and I will add &horses. I'm Jeff Keane stay tuned until after the break and I will tell you why. Everyone likes to say the housing and horse markets are in the tank but if you have got the money it could be a perfect time to make a great buy on either of them isn't that right Susan? Absolutely and Jeff, fall is traditionally chock full of fabulous horse sales. There is the famous Clovis sale in New Mexico in early November that always features great bloodlines, and Montana typically has a couple big sales now but we need to remind our listeners that here in the northwest we no longer have to travel that far to find good horses. The Columbia River Horse Sale is being held again this year at the Trac in Tri Cities November 7. Their sales catalog is full of good arena horses and prospects and the best part Jeff, is that you can ride and rope off them, and check out their personalities all day Thursday and Friday from noon until 4:00.
