01/17/08 Young Farmers and Ranchers, Chandler

Cody and Brittany Chandler met at Ricks College, later married and now have three kids, two girls and a boy. CODY "I'm Cody Chandler. I was born and raised here on this ranch here in Weiser, Idaho. I'm the fourth generation here and my Dad he ran the ranch and I lease country from him. Our operation, we run a bunch of cows here and then we train horses and sell horses. We take in some outside horses and train them for people, put 30 or 60 or 90 days, whatever people want." Cody says he got involved with Farm Bureau's Young Farmers and Ranchers at his Dad's urging. CODY "I started coming to some of the meetings and they put me on the board. It wasn't until I probably went to the state convention in sun Valley here a couple of years ago that I really saw the good that Farm Bureau does." BRITTANY "We can't complain about the rules and how everything is going if we aren't willing to do anything about it, so somebody has to be involved.
