12/03/07 Chocolate Biofuel

Each year the Christmas season provides me the perfect excuse to indulge in chocolate . It's seems everywhere! Decadent selections appear in retail stores, at office parties and under the tree, and while my car has been known filled to the brim with gift boxes of rich chocolate a couple of chaps an ocean away literary have their lorry toped off with the stuff. Both Andy Pag and John Grimshaw of England are passionate about chocolate and the environment so the two men in midst of grand carbon neutral adventure are traveling to Timbutktu in a lorry fueled by cocoa butter. Extracted from 80,000 chocolate bars considered retail rejects due to visual imperfections the two men, staunch environmentalists want to prove that if they can make the 4,500 mile journey fueled only by chocolate bio diesel anybody could use candy bars to commute. Now take it from someone who invariably dribbles gasoline on herself every time I fill my rig up the idea of chocolate fuel is a lot more appealing, heck I could just lick up my mess. Maybe if I was filling my tank with chocolate and not my mouth I wouldn't gain those extra holiday pounds.
