More farm data is supposed to help producers make better decisions. But when that information is scattered across different systems, it can be almost impossible to put it to use. Patrick Smith, founder of Oxrow, saw that challenge as an opportunity to connect the data farmers already have and make it easier for them to make informed decisions.

Smith… “ So one of the pain points that I have experienced as a farmer with ag tech is that we keep adding systems of record and point solutions for all of our various needs, right? So we have an accounting system, we have a farm management system where we have our work orders, some of our IPM information, fertility information, things like that. We have countless spreadsheets and PDF files and everything else, right? And so everything ends up getting scattered across all of these different systems, and there's no connective tissue there that helps me understand my business if I zoom out one more level. And so what Oxrow does is we're taking all of those source systems that you already have, and we're connecting those with automated pipelines into a product and a platform. So you can go to one place, and then we have some custom or like canned reports that you can access.”
