Global Pulse Industry Meets in Orlando as Demand Grows for U.S. Crops
Global pulse industry leaders gathered in Orlando, Florida this week for Pulses 26, bringing together growers, exporters, processors, logistics companies, and international buyers from more than 50 countries.During the USA Pulses Summit, Montana producer and USA Pulses Trade Association Chairman Jeff Winkler highlighted the growing global demand for U.S. pulse crops—including peas, lentils, chickpeas, and beans—thanks to their strong nutritional profile and premium quality.
International buyers attending the conference echoed those comments, with Pakistan importer Hadi Doni calling U.S. pulses “the best in the world” because of their consistency, transparency, and reliability.
Industry leaders also discussed global trade tensions, tariffs, logistics challenges, and the importance of building strong international relationships to keep expanding export opportunities for American pulse growers.
