Vaccination Without the Guessing

If you’ve ever worked cattle and wondered whether you’re giving vaccines the best way possible, this one’s for you. This Thursday, February 5, there’s a free, live webinar focused entirely on cattle vaccination best practices. It runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mountain Time, which is 6 to 7:30 here in California. And if that’s right in the middle of dinner, the good news is the session will be recorded.

This webinar is not about building a vaccination schedule or telling you which shots to give and when. Instead, it focuses on how vaccines are actually administered and why technique matters. If you’ve got neighbors helping, kids just learning the ropes, a spouse who’s new to the industry, or if you yourself were handed a vaccine gun and told to go at it without much formal training, this session is for you.

The webinar is led by Dr. Katie Rein of Crazy Mountain Veterinary Service. She grew up on a multi-generation ranch, trained at Montana State, Washington State, and Texas A&M, and now works daily with livestock producers. She’ll cover needle size selection, proper injection sites, and the differences between subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
