Between tariffs, input costs skyrocketing, cost of goods going up and commodity prices much lower in terms of what goes into a producers bank account, there hasn't been a lot of good news for ag producers lately. But all of a sudden, a little tiny bit of good news at least for dairy producers who are plentiful in a good state of Idaho.

Speaker2: Will ensure that millions of school aged children have access to high quality milk. As it currently stands, schools participating in the National School Lunch Program are only able to offer students low or nonfat milk options. Speaker1: In terms of implementation of the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act in our nation's schools, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said same day at the signing event. Speaker3: Usda is posting the new rulemaking that is necessary to get whole milk back into school lunches. Speaker1: With whole milk available in schools and school menus within a few weeks, according to the secretary.
