Reflections and observations from former President of the Idaho Farm Bureau Federation, Brian Searle and his wife Mary. You know, I've always loved the Four Seasons because it brings change and renews opportunities, and we feel like it's been an amazing season to be part of Farm Bureau and serve, particularly the season as a president and know that that season is coming to an end and there's a lot of mixed emotions. Speaker3: Farming's been hard because you have your up years and down years, and to pay out on what you put in and the hard work. But it has been really good too, because our kids have learned to work. The grandkids have now come back onto the farm to help out. It's a great place for family to bond, learn how to work hard. Speaker2: I think the relationships that we build in Farm Bureau and some of those get strained, but as time progresses along, what an opportunity. I've always said that Farm Bureau is almost better than family because it seems like we can disagree, but then we can agree to go to dinner and be friends. And I think that's something that we need to always, always remember is we're working together for the benefit of what's there. Speaker3: Brian has put his heart and soul and time and energy into it, but it's taken a lot, and so I'm excited to have that time, more time with him and going and doing things with the grandchildren. Speaker1: Congratulations on a great life of service. Brian and Mary Searle.
