From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson. If you are planning to attend the Potato Expo January 6-8 in Dallas, Texas, but have yet to register, your chance to save a little on your registration ends tomorrow, January 7th.

But Hollee Alexander, Vice President, Industry Relations & Events at the National Potato Council, says it’s not the last day to register …

ALEXANDER … “It’s not necessarily deadline, where we always have Potato Expo registration open up, you know, all the way until onsite, but if people want to save a little bit of money on the registration fee, then registering by this Friday, November 7th will allow them to do that.”

But Alexander says it’s still a pretty good deal …

ALEXANDER … “This is the fifth year in a row that we’ve held the ‘All Access Pass’ fee flat. So, while we have been continuing to deliver more and more at the Expo and input prices and everything, and all that are going up, but we’ve made a commitment to continue to keep that registration fee accessible.”

And so far, registration for this year’s Potato Expo is going very well …

ALEXANDER … “All of our numbers are tracking to have one of the biggest Expo’s we’ve had yet, so we’re excited. We have a nearly full exhibit hall with lots of fun things going on in there.”

Go to www.potato-expo.com to register and to book your hotel room at the Gaylord Texan in Dallas January 6-8.
