Over 120 initiatives addressing chronic disease in children make up the Make America healthy again report, otherwise known as the MaHA report. The second draft of the MAHA report was just released, and USA Secretary of Agriculture, Brooke Rollins, sits on the MAHA commission.

“I am encouraged by the road map that this report presents. It shows where opportunities exist to improve technology, research, and outcomes. America's farmers and ranchers dedicate their lives to the noble cause of feeding our country and the world, and in doing so, have created the safest, most affordable and most abundant food supply in the world.”

USDA efforts in the nutrition space include improved soil health tools such as the upcoming regenerative agriculture pilot program.

“USDA is upcoming regenerative pilot program is built to address on farm resource concerns, while also providing farmers with usable outcomes based conservation plans. Additionally, we will leverage existing funding from research agencies to produce Applied Science, informing farmer decision-making on regenerative agriculture.”

The MAHA Commission, chaired by US Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, is tasked with investigating and addressing the root causes of America's escalating health crisis with a focus on children.
