Understanding where your farm stands financially is the foundation of making confident business decisions. For many farmers, dealing with spreadsheets, forms, and scattered records can make that task feel overwhelming. Mackenzie Burnett, Co-Founder and CEO of Ambrook, says their goal is to reduce that stress and help farmers gain the clarity they need to make those crucial business decisions.

Burnett.. “Ambrook is building what we hope is infrastructure where people can, by getting a lot more clarity in the now, can also be much more confident in the future. And I think clarity in the now is required in order to take any level of business risk. You know, there's all all these words for risk–innovation. If folks wanna, you know, invest in community projects or be able to diversify, or all these, you know, these are all words that kind of just mean taking business risk. And if you don't actually know your numbers now, you don't actually know whether or not you can scale up something or you need to actually stop doing an activity, right? Like to diversify is to change what you're doing that has worked fine for a long time. And so what we're actually helping people do is, you know, first just anxiety reduction. Just like being less overwhelmed about your books, being able to look at your numbers more clearly. But the second step in the Maslow's hierarchy on top of that, is actually being able to think about the future in a way where you can make strategic decisions.”
