FFA Membership Soars Past One Million Again
The National FFA Organization is celebrating a major milestone—membership has topped one million students for the second year in a row. For 2024–25, FFA reports 1,042,245 student members across 9,407 chapters, plus another 802,000 alumni involved through more than 2,000 alumni chapters.National FFA CEO Scott Stump says it’s exciting to see interest in agricultural education continue to grow, reminding us that today’s members have opportunities across more than 350 ag-related careers. More than that, they’re joining a family that cultivates leadership, growth, and a brighter future in agriculture.
Membership increases were seen across the country, with Florida standing out as one of the top gainers, growing 7.7 percent compared to the previous year. Florida also ranks among the top five states in overall membership with more than 65,000 students involved. Georgia holds strong as well, counting over 80,000 members.
From local chapters in rural communities to schools in big cities, FFA is shaping the next generation of agricultural leaders while honoring its roots that date back to 1928.
