As agriculture evolves, so do the tools that help farmers manage their businesses more easily. One example is a new customer portal developed by MFA Incorporated and AgVend. MFA executive vice president of operations, Jason Weirich, says its purpose is to enhance service, convenience, and correspondence with their farmer customers.

Weirich... " I would say that the adoption has been pretty good. Again, it's meeting the producer where they wanna be met. So, they're able to pay invoices, they're able to see the invoices, they're able to see all of the, the communication, be able to see quotes, anything that's generated from our sales folks, our manager to them, able to pay a bill within with a couple clicks."

Weirich says the idea was driven by changes hey’ve seen in the purchasing preferences of their producers.

Weirich... "As a cooperative, advancements in technology is sometimes, we're seen as slow to adopt or slow to bring new tools to help our producers. We just take it for granted is, hey, you can just walk in the store and, and you can ask for your invoices or bills to be printed off. But there's, there's a rapid shift in transitions as the next person that wants to receive the data, they want to see it. And MFA Connect has allowed us to make those connections."

The portal is a free service built specifically for MFA customers.
