Georgia Grown Chef Chelsia Green-Ogletree Wins Big on Chopped
How’s this for a spotlight? Georgia Grown Executive Chef Chelsia Green-Ogletree just walked away a champion on the Food Network’s Chopped. The episode, titled “Superhero Chef,” aired last Tuesday and featured chefs making a difference in their communities. Chef Chelsia stood out with her soulful, Southern-forward cooking and her work feeding and empowering students through a diverse, healthy lunch program. She’s the Executive Chef at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Macon (that’s MAY-kun, Georgia) and owns Her Majesty’s Kitchen & Catering. She’s also part of the 2025 Georgia Grown Executive Chef class—a program connecting top chefs with local farmers and food producers across the state.
Run by Georgia Grown and the Georgia Restaurant Association, the program opens doors for Georgia-grown products. By connecting top chefs with local farmers and food producers, it opens up new markets and keeps fresh, local ingredients at the center of the plate—and the conversation.
Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper said it best: “We were thrilled to see her take home the top-prize as the Chopped champion, and we’re proud to congratulate her on a hard-earned victory.”
