June WASDE Report and USDA Invests in Screwworm Protection
From the Ag Information Network, this is your Agribusiness Update.**The latest World Ag Supply and Demand Estimates report for June says the 2025-26 U.S. corn outlook didn’t change much from last month.
The season-average farm price received by producers is unchanged at $4.20 per bushel.
The U.S. wheat outlook this month is for slightly larger supplies, unchanged domestic use, higher exports, and lower ending stocks.
All wheat production is projected at 1.921 million bushels, up 115,000 from last month.
**Food insecurity affects 47 million people in America, with a disproportionate impact in rural areas.

**Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins launched an $8.5 million New World screwworm fly dispersal facility in south Texas and announced a five-part plan to enhance detection, control, and elimination of the pest.
While the screwworm was eradicated from the U.S. decades ago, recent detections in Mexico led to the suspension of live cattle, horses, and bison imports from Mexico.
The plan includes partnering with Mexico to ensure eradication and protect the southern border.
