You could waste a lot of time and money trying all of the various technologies directed at farmers. So instead farmers and technology providers have to come together around real world problems. Innov8.ag founder Steve Mantle says his plan after acquiring 2nd Sight is to spend more time understanding how his technology and services align with problems growers are facing today.
Mantle… “ Listening to the voice of the grower, sitting down with CFOs. We've also brought in an advisory/consulting service where we've have some very top notch executives from the industry that can provide fractional advising, if you will, to complement the data in terms of providing insights. And so an example was brought to us the other day by A CFO is look, here's what I'm getting paid for berries early-season, mid-season, late-season. Here's what our volume looks like. Help us just shift just a little bit earlier and a little bit later so that we can take advantage of the trough that's in the middle where all that volume is in there. So, , focusing on helping provide more value to growers in terms of their profitability.”
