Rolling Through Georgia: Mobile Ag Classroom Reaches All 159 Counties
Big news for ag education in Georgia—the Georgia Ag Experience mobile classroom has now reached every single county in the state!The Georgia Foundation for Agriculture recently marked this milestone with a visit to Stewart County, capping off a four-year journey that began in 2021.
Since its launch, this 36-foot mobile classroom has traveled over 210,000 miles. Along the way, it’s reached more than 51,000 students, worked with over 2,500 teachers, and teamed up with 1,270 volunteers.
Designed for third through fifth graders, the classroom is packed with interactive stations and standards-based lessons that spotlight Georgia’s top commodities and ag careers. It’s hands-on, immersive, and fun—making big ag topics feel approachable for young learners.
Operating year-round, the Georgia Ag Experience visits schools, libraries, festivals, and community events.
Teachers or organizers who want to bring it to their area for the 2025–2026 school year can make a request through their local Farm Bureau office. Registration opens in August 2025. All the info is at georgiaagexperience.org.
