The weather is heating up, which means so are irrigation needs throughout farm country. Netafim’s Mike Hemman says their digital farming solution, GrowSphere™, helps to maximize efficiency and productivity per acre thanks to its all-in-one operating system to manage daily irrigation and fertigation activities.

Hemman… “ We can have sensors in the field. We can tell exactly how much water is in the soil. We can look exactly at what the weather is in a very specific farm. We can now also take that information and feed it back into the cloud. And we have an automated crop advisor platform that now collects that information. And Netafim has developed crop models that will track a crop all throughout every growth stage and all throughout the full year or cycle that that crop has grown, knowing exactly how much water it needs. And now we can look and see what is the weather done, what's actually happening in the soil? Is there enough water? Is there too much water? And now we can also send a signal back to the farm and say, irrigate.”

Netafim recently announced a new partnership with Treetoscope to provide farmers with broader access to digital farming solutions that deliver real-time, data-driven irrigation recommendations.
