**Wine Institute is pushing back against the thought of placing tariffs on imports from Canada, and retaliatory tariffs against U.S. wine.

With annual retail sales in Canada of over $1.1 billion, President Robert Koch says Wine Institute strongly advocates for the removal of wine from all trade retaliation lists.

**Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins addressed more than 400 USDA staffers, stakeholders and friends and pledged to bring greater efficiency to USDA to ensure it better serves American farmers, ranchers, and the ag community.

Rollins reviewed findings from the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, and welcomes the opportunity to optimize the USDA workforce and stop wasteful spending.

USDA has begun a comprehensive review of contracts, personnel, employee training and DEI programs.
