Bressler to Lead California Pork Producers Association
The California Pork Producers Association (CPPA) announced Mackenzie Bressler as its new Executive Director, effective February 3, 2025. In this capacity, Bressler will lead efforts to support California’s pork producers and strengthen the state’s pork industry. She brings a robust background in communications, association management, and outreach within California agriculture. Most recently, she served as External Relations Director at Chico State’s College of Agriculture and previously worked as a digital marketing manager at Farmers Communications Exchange.A native of Colusa, California, Bressler’s passion for agriculture was ignited through early involvement in 4-H and FFA. She earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, equipping her with the expertise to effectively convey the significance of pork in both nutrition and the state’s economy. This strategic hire promises growth.
Bressler expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to collaborate with industry stakeholders, pork producers, and youth members. The CPPA, which was established in the 1950s, added the executive director role in 2021 to provide state-level leadership and reinforce its commitment to grassroots engagement, advocacy, education, and product promotion.
