Another Georgia HPAI Confirmation and Ag Groups Welcome Trump
From the Ag Information Network, this is your Agribusiness Update.**The Georgia Department of Agriculture and the USDA’s Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service announced a second positive case of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in a commercial poultry flock in Elbert County.
www.gfb.org reports the site, referred to as Elbert 02, is located about 210 yards away from Elbert 01, the first positive commercial flock announced two days before the
January 17th detection.
Elbert 02 had approximately 130,000 broilers onsite. Elbert 01 had about 45,000.
