US Wheat Associates recently concluded their global crop quality seminar series hosting over 22 seminars worldwide. This expansion was made possible through Regional Agricultural Promotion Program funding which also supports other key initiatives. Senior Vice President of Communications, Steve Mercer shares more details on the upcoming projects ahead as US Wheat Associates looks to 2025.

“Africa, which is a potential market, we're looking at hiring an additional technical person there in Africa for the first time in many years. We are excited about plans for two conferences in 2025 in the first half of 2025 for our South Asian and North Asian customers that will be in Vietnam in May. Both of those conferences.”

Aside from this project, Mercer says the organization is really going to focus on the ongoing effort of promoting the value of us wheat.

“Whether it's milling training, technical support inside mills and bakeries around the world. And a large part of the work, of course, is trade service, which is really helping our customers understand how to get the most value when they tender for US wheat.

Once again, Steve Mercer, US, Wheat Associates, vice president of communications.
