in 2022, down from 10.9% in the 2017 Census.
Farms and ranches operated by current or former military service members produced, on average, about $170,000 per farm in 2022, compared with $286,000 for all operations.

**Farmers and ranchers from more than 30 states attended the 2024 Agriculture Threats Symposium hosted by the FBI.
