**Delivery capability and reliability of the California State Water Project, a 700-mile network of reservoirs and canals, could be reduced by 23% in 20 years due to changing flow patterns and extreme weather.

Department of Water Resources Director Karla Nemeth says the analysis underscores the need to modernize and upgrade our aging infrastructure to capture water supplies when it’s wet.

She says modernizing the State Water Project is critical.

**The Sustainable Aviation Fuel Coalition announced Amazon has joined its expanding membership.

**Tyson Foods says its fiscal third-quarter sales rose year-over-year, and per-share earnings surged.

Sales in the three months ending on June 29 totaled $13.4 billion, up 1.6% from the same quarter in 2023.

The company says revenue was up 0.5 percent to $39.7 billion in the first nine months of Tyson’s fiscal year.

Third-quarter sales rose to $5.24 billion from $4.96 billion and pork sales rose 10%.
