Give Your Tractor Autonomous Capabilities

Autonomy is coming to agriculture, but it may not require buying a new tractor. Bluewhite Robotics sells a system for farmers to give existing tractors and implements autonomous capabilities. CEO Ben Alfi says they have already developed a track record of autonomous farming.
Alfi… “Mainly while lots of companies are talking about autonomy, we established many hours of autonomous commercial hours. Something around 60,000 hours up to date. With the idea of how to create with one software and one hardware suit a capability that is suitable for any type of tractor, any type of crop, and any type of implement.”
Alfi says they have started in specialty crops like vineyards, citrus and other tree crops.
Alfi… “Today we know how to transform regular tractors to autonomous more than 20 models already. And we know how to work in vineyards, in citrus, apples, in almonds.”
Alfi said the company wanted to first focus on situations with the most tractors per acre first before moving up to larger and larger machinery.
