A Deep Dive into Strawberry Research

As someone who is often on the planning side of agricultural events, I can tell you with 100% conviction that there is never a great time for everyone in which to hold any sort of an gathering. It’s with this in mind that we are now so thankful to be able to lean on technology and that is exactly what is taking place in the world of California strawberries.
Videos are now available from the California Strawberry Commission’s Production Research Meeting held in Santa Maria earlier this month. More than 80 industry members gathered for the event, where the commission, its university partners, and guest speakers presented updates on current research underway, as well as the commission’s top research priorities for 2025.
The new bank of videos includes a regulatory update from the Santa Barbara County Agricultural Commissioner as well as recorded sessions with highlights on the latest research in pathology, entomology, weed science, and production automation.
